Today, the Faculty of Commerce, Tanta University, held the first performance evaluation committee for the faculty's department managers, as part of the university's keenness, headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University, to adopt institutional excellence and quality standards of education and job performance as an approach to developing the university, in light of the university's Quality Management directives to adopt the performance evaluation committee for heads of administrative departments at the faculty by forming a performance evaluation committee for directors and heads of administrative departments at the faculty. The committee is headed by Prof. Dr. Yasser Al-Jarf, Dean of the Faculty, and includes Prof. Dr. Tarek Radwan, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hani Mahariq, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Tahani Allam, Director of the Performance Assurance Unit at the university, Dr. Maysa Ali, Acting Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Dr. Mahmoud Adham, Secretary General of the Faculty.
This was attended by Dr. Mohamed Al-Danf, Coordinator of Institutional Governance at the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Sharaf, Acting Director of the Information Technology Unit at the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Geyar, Coordinator of the International Classification at the Faculty.
The committee met at 11:30 am in the office of the Dean of the College. The Dean of the College confirmed that this evaluation will be conducted periodically with the aim of ensuring the efficiency of the college’s units and departments in an effort to develop and modernize and provide distinguished service to our students and college staff and to maintain institutional excellence. His Excellency also praised the department directors who appeared in a decent manner and expressed their keenness to make the college appear in a distinguished manner as expected from our distinguished college.
